Anti-violence Games

We always think when it comes to games and video games about football, violence, blood, fast cars, etc.. Ian Bogost had chose to change this theory and create new games that will go beyond entertainment to education, art and peace. For example games to solve the middle-east problems or games regarding the immigration or food ..

Persuasive Games :
Our games influence players to take action through gameplay. Games communicate differently than other media; they not only deliver messages, but also simulate experiences. While often thought to be just a leisure activity, games can also become rhetorical tools.

One of the games that Ian Bogost created and really attracted me is "Selene", it's a game about Lunar Geology founded by NASA and created by his students.

To play this game you must be sponsored by a Selene recruiter, youth who have parental permission can play for about an hour, this game teach kids and youth science while they are playing. The Selene project is a part from the NASA programs to teach youth and to help them know more about science, technology...
visit the Selene website to learn more about the game.
