well, humans aren't the strongest creatures on earth !!! each body is limited to carry an amount of wieght that we can pick up or carry.specially for soldiers to deal with their weaknesses and become fatal on the battlefield. so the U.S defense advanced research projects angencies is investing 50$ million to develop an exoskeleton suit.
exoskeleton suit is a robotic wearable one that allow to the soldires to run faster and carry heavier weapons . imagine that soldiers will be able to carry hundreds of pounds and run twice their normal speed . and this robotic suit can also help soldiers in navigating foreign terrorists.
so now, lets talk about robotic suits and what are its advantages,is it going really to help soldiers?
- soldiers will be able to remove large obstacles from their way while marching.
- when wearing this suit , it will be useless to wear under it heavier amor body and other protections.
-human is able to walk 4 to 6 mph, this suit speed was tested and by wearing it human can speed faster than 10mph (16km/h)
-these exoskeletons are equipped with sensors and GPS(global positioning system) so soldiers can use also this technology which is usefull for soldiers to obtain information about the terrain they are crossing and how to know their ways to specific locations.
-jump higher

it's an interesting article targetting one of the most passionate topics in the world of technology. i find the attached picture very interesting too because it gives a good view of what the article is shooting.finally it is surprising how far war technologies are aiming and this is mainly spotted in this article
Why is this being developed for the military first?
i mean wouldn’t it be better as a tool of mankind to use it for constructive purposes?
like build it for construction workers, factory workers, make it for disaster relief people like fire who could use it to turn over a flip car and rescue the occupants.
it seems to me that peace would be a better suited task for such a device, not war.
Plus, what happens when all of the sudden military grows powerful to the point where no one in the world could stand a chance against it? Doing so upsets the ability to stop rulers if they get too unjust. Or even a murderer getting one and going on a rampage. This suit can easily lead to way too much violence to where people would have to put it on to simply go to work. Not to say it isn’t a great idea, but if you look at the possible faults the risks seem slightly to much to make more than a few, and using them only in emergency.
I liked it its realy interesting and will attract alot of "guy readers":P but im against weapons in general i mean they're only used for war so unless aliens are attacking us i dont think these should b used with humans...
